Here is a beet juice recipe that will boost your immune system, strengthen your heart and give you some energy.

It contains only four ingredients but these four have many important nutrients for your health.

  • Carrots- High in vitamins A ( helps with vision), C ( immune support), K ( builds bones) and several B vitamins ( provide energy and mood support) . They also contain antioxidants that help combat stress, aging and inflammation. Carrots are also are high in fiber which improves digestion and may help lower cholesterol and improve heart health.
  • Cucumbers- Are about 95% water making them great for hydration. Cucumbers also provide vitamins K,C and B along with potassium and magnesium which help regulate blood pressure and support heart health.
  • Beetroot- Contain a ton of valuable vitamins and minerals. In fact, they contain a bit of almost all of the vitamins and minerals your body needs. They contain Protien,  Fiber, Folate, Mangnesium Copper, Potassium, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Iron and much more.
  • Ginger Root- Ginger has a long history of use in various forms of traditional and alternative medicine. It’s been used to aid digestion, reduce nausea, and help fight the flu and common cold. It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Ginger may lower blood sugar, cholesterol and improve heart disease risk factors. Ginger’s antimicrobial properties make it useful for fighting bacterial and fungal infections.

Ingredients

  • 2 Carrots
  • Half of a large cucumber
  • Half of a small beetroot
  • 1/2 inch piece of peeled ginger root

Directions

Clean and cut vegetables into small chucks before adding to a juicer. Serve over ice if you prefer it cold.
